That's the key thing here.

They belittle all the racism, then want to be praised for not doing racist crap when that should be the norm.

They had a year book with the KKK in it for God's sake and want to make it seem like this problem wasn't with the University at the time.

When the current female president is black that shows growth, but when she is still getting racially abused at the university that is a shame. The actions of a few, but still a disgrace.

I wouldn't be happy, but this stance is ridiculous. Donate to State or LSU? Just kill yourself instead

I would hate my university as much as I hate Southern Miss. And a lot of you know how I feel about those piss ants.

Guarantee you can find that in over half of the other SEC schools. Don't act like it's just us.

Are you fricking serious? Your dog fricking wannabe gay gi joe bullshite has done more to damage the SEC than Arkansas. You're a fricking blight on this whole country.

Right, a top 25 public university and AAU member performing research of international significance is the blight of not just the SEC but the entire country.

You and your people are a blemish to an otherwise beautiful face. Please avoid making yourself more visible than you already are. For all our sake.

So if one day the Ole Miss Rebels officially became the Mississippi Bears, you would support a school that made that decision?

Ole Miss has come a long way (as have Mississippi and the US in general) with race relations, but there are some pretty fricking stupid, sheltered, entitled people as undergrads at Ole Miss. Bad apples and the whole bunch and all that.

That said, I don't think Wright Thompson owed it to Ole Miss to report the story any differently. I don't think that's really the point of the story anyway.

An A&M fan talking about another school being racist. That's classic. The Ag schools really should stay out of this.

That is absolutely disgusting, regardless of who.

It's like you're saying your heavily racist past was okay because you can find some other place somewhere who has been as well.

Didn't Dan Jones' recent letter pretty much focus on looking to change the names of things associated with the university?

I wouldn't be happy about it, but it wouldn't cause me to turn on the school.

Never said it wasn't terrible. But to focus on just one school about this is stupid.

So it's not ok for folks to accuse your school of unsavory race-related actions; but it's ok for you to accuse mine of such?

You're better than that, Henry.

I wish it was late October now.

The long shadows, the shorter days, the red leaves, the crisp air, Finebaum, and football.

Your university is well-documented in one of the most embarrassing chapters of our country's history.

I'm quite safe throwing stones.

We're apparently racists for defending our school and trying to bring to light the hypocrisy of the other SEC schools.

I bet this dumbass thinks we supported the KKK coming to campus in '09
