And all can throw better than Hurts...

Killed them too. Did you know there are now advanced statistics available to normalize the data to account for opponent, situation, etc that gives you a pretty good idea how to accurately rank this stuff.

Alabama's rushing offense was ranked #2 in Rushing S&P+ adjusted for opponent. Alabama's rushing offense was dominant relative to how the opponent's other opponents did all year against them. This applies to both the good rushing defenses and the bad rushing defenses. Not really sure why you are bothering to argue this one.

The real stat that you will never see is what Bama did against their opponents after getting a double digit lead. That is the point when you try to keep the clock running by running the ball. Most of those games this year they had that lead, and still didn't pad the rushing stats. I know I heard some blame it on the OL, but it was a shared problem. If not for Hurts it would have been worse.

You never showed me those stats against the 90 below Defenses that Bama played.

Take a look at the stats when you take Hurts out of the equation.

I'd say Bo and Jacobs (who I like more than any of the guys who have played some already) have certainly showed that they're above average.

Let me know when they figure out a way to get the football to more than one of them at a time.

I'm thinking ....double reverse.

Does a 5 star get a better model of a Charger than a 4 star?

The only one that will be great is Najee and probably won't play much until 2018.

Guys like Najee and Akers don't warm the bench. He will find a role real soon.

Prediction: Bo Scarbrough will get injured by the fourth game of the season and Najee Harris will lead Bama in rushing yards next season. The other three running backs are pretty meh. Damien Harris is slow and runs like a tight end. Maybe they can move him to h-back or something. Joshua Jacobs isn't anything special. There's been a half dozen guys with comparable ability that's played for Bama over the year who couldn't crack the two deep depth chart. As for Emmons, his impact was minimal even though the running back situation was unsettled for pretty much the entire season.

I disagree. I think his inability to throw the ball and this east west crap Bama is running is what hurt the running game. He need to learn to throw from the pocket and use his legs when protection breaks down.

Don't sleep on Damien Harris either:

2016 Stats:
145 rushes 1,040 yards 7.2 ypc 4 TDs.

Our top three returning RBs averaged a combined 6.7 yards per carry last year.

I think you are being too hard on our guys but I agree that Bo won't make it a year being healthy and Najee is a fricking beast. He will lead the offense in rushing.
