Curious of everyone's opinion...

I don't see how Washington keeps getting listed as a Top 10 team, let alone in playoff contention.

I've watched a few of their games and it's just been bad.

The BYU game was painful to watch. It was like a high school game. BYU defense was so bad that there were several occasions where the Washington receivers were standing in one spot waving their arms.

Am I missing something about this team that just screams top 10?

It's the biased, west coast, left wing media!!!

No but for real, I think it's because of Chris Petersen.
Coaches and the AP love him.

They have the #1 scoring defense in the country at 11.6 ppg. They have a corner who will be a first round draft pick. Their defense will keep them in every game this year. I agree that they look vulnerable to drop a another game or two, but they haven't done anything to lose spots in the rankings.

And pretty soon that Auburn loss is going to be a bad loss.

Same team that kept Bama to 10 offensive points. They dont have to beat anyone in the pac cause there is no one but they have a good defense and a lot of returning starters this year. I believe those are the main reasons why they are ranked where they are. The BYU win looks better that they took out Wisconsin too.

Looking at college football this year they really maybe the 10-15 best team tho

Wisconsin is bad and they've literally played nothing but dumpster fire teams. They won't even blow out Nebraska this week.

The big ten and the ACC are bad this year. Even the top teams in those conferences look down compared too past years.

Washington? His won - loss record was not that great, but his team showed up in the big games when it counted the most. His win at Trenton established him as a great coach and leader of men.

listed as a Top 10 team
I think many have an inflated view of what a to 10 team looks like. For example, Auburn is pretty mediocre in my view, but also has a legitimate claim as a top 10 team when one considers the other teams similarly situated.
