When I was stationed in Germany in1953 cigarettes were eleven cents a pack but were much more valuable on the black market. We did not sell them but used them as currency.

My first.car was a 1949 Ford but my first new one was 1957 Chevy.

I remember when JT stood for James Taylor not Justin Timberlake..

I remember when Arkansas was a titlist under Broyles, Richardson, McDonnell, and not a poseur..

I remember when Tennessee and the Oakland Raiders played Consistent Dominant Winning Football..

I remember when Ma Bell had Bama-esque carte blanche monopoly with the rules...as for Tide some things never change!

Oh boy, this is going to date me but I remember when Broyles and Switzer came to our house recruiting my oldest brother. They were also recruiting another player from his high school and they all met there on the same day and I threw the football with Switzer and they made jokes about recruiting me as well - I was still just a chap at the time but I had a football in my hands 24/7.
