I Remember...

My senior year at UGA, Sanford stadium held 59,000...

My Fresh. & Soph. year Ray Goff was our QB...

I graduated 2 years before our last National Championship...

I sat on the "Tracks" multiple times while a student...

BUT... I was in the Super Dome at the '81 Sugar Bowl when Herschel & Co. won it all, also there when we lost to Pitt & PSU after the '81 & '82 seasons...

I Remember when I use to go to Birmingham for the LSU-Alabama game in the 70's and pick up these chicks all decked out in red and even popped some cherries. Now, I see script A posters posting about their parents attending Alabama in the 70's and I cringe thinking these little frickers might be kid without me knowing

I remember getting a quarter to go to the movies - 15 cents to get in, nickel for popcorn, and a nickel for a coke.

A full meal at DQ was 30 cents. Hamburger 15 cents, fries 10 cents and a coke for a nickel and no tax.

Gas was 18 cents a gallon and a pack of cigarettes were 20 cents.

Damn I'm old.

dallas6 ... good stuff., excellent first new car. Helluva color and everything. I loved those cars in 73. Yours had the 350 or the 302 was it? 350 right?

Gremlins Village damn man, how old are you? I thought I was the oldest around here but you must be pushing 70 easy. 18 cents a gallon gas had to be in the 40s and even Army cigs were more than 20 cents when I was in.
