I just think it's ridiculous for UT fans to say jack shite about UGA.

We have more all time wins, winning record h2h, more SECC and National Championships. Pretty sure UT can still talk shite to them.

Wake me up when they win a NC in my lifetime

not really, we have a SEC title in that group. Where is yours?

Fulmer won two SEC and a national title so he already outdoes

Wake me up when you think UT could actually beat UGA

I'd like to see more coaching chops. The team lacks talent, but it shouldn't struggle to beat South Alabama. And WKU wasn't pretty either if you take away the turnovers.

I'm not confident he's going to compete for SEC titles. But there's a chance if he can recruit and get the talent level up.

I think the Vols got their man..if they can be patient. He is Muschamp Lite...has that fierce look and isn't gonna tolerate losing.

He has blown up the recruiting trail and served notice that UT will compete with UGA, UF, USC, Bama and AU for those southeast recruits.

He is facing a lot of hard work uphill because of the lack of talent that he inherited overall...he will need to start winning soon to keep recruits attention...right now he can sell immediate playing time...but because of the three and out exodus in college football, everyone is playing frosh if they know the basic scheme and can line up correctly.

If given enough time he will turn the corner I believe and start upsetting a few teams in the next year or two....just hope we aren't one of them

Much is I hate to say it, TeTeTenn ... dang, can't even say the name ... is having some excellent recruiting. Fortunately lagging in recruiting for both lines. Knoxville might be the gloomiest city in America.

I think butch will turn out good for them and the program, seems like he's all in, and really cares about the kids.

I used to hate UT, now I just feel bad

I have to admit it's difficult watching UT struggle. My mom loves Tennessee and tried to convert me when I was young.

No it's not.

Yes...it was karma paying Tennessee back for turning in Bama...for CHEATING. Dubose, Fran, Price...that was Bama's karma for buying players in Memphis.

Muschamp light would make him the fourth best coach in the division or worse.

How does it feel to know you have as good of a coach as you can hope for, and Texas is still one average higher from relegating you to second class citizen status?

Uhh pay atention aubie. He was comparing those to Kiffin, Dooley and Jones.

Price never coached a game. Dubose won an SEC title and even Fran and Shula had a ten win season.

And we're quite used to being served by API. Usually late night at Waffle House.

And as bad as it got at Alabama under those coaches, it never got as bad as it has gotten at Tennessee - and that's with major sanctions, too.

Bottom line: we were competitive in pretty much every game during those eras and never got beat 59-14.

His name has yet to surface as a candidate for the USCw job, so I'm thinking UT is already fixing some of their old problems.

He had one consistent problem at Cincinnati. He could neither develop or settle on a quarterback. In his final season he went between Munchie and Kay so many times it nearly ran the season off the rails. I wonder if that will be a problem at UT.
