I would've loved it. One of my best friends swam a VTech and I'd have loved to elevate our smack talk to an in conference level. Only time we've lost to them was freshman year music city bowl lol.

VT would be a power house in the SEC. they'd beable to lock that region up in recruiting and that region produces quite a bit of talent

I would have really liked them as the cross division rival for A&M

Lets get UNC and Kansas and call it a day.

If you're going to go in that direction, just get UNC and Duke.

I really wish VT would have joined with us and were our cross division rival.

Missouri was a great fit...for the B1G.

What's funny about that people talk about SEC schedule is too hard. Hell Mizzou seems to be fitting right in barring the 2012 season when the QB, OL, n star RB injured. What will people say if Mizzou competes again? Mizzou should never compete in the mighty SEC when they have lesser talent. Thats why OU is laughing at the mighty SEC. Yes VT would be better, if they compete then people won't talk shite on the SEC, but when Mizzou competes it makes the SEC look bad.

On a side note, VT don't want to join the SEC. When will people realize that!

Hey Stroke, would it have been a much more competitive series?

Anyone who wants to add UNC is insane. The school cheats at a level that makes the Alabama schools blush, and they're arrogant like Texas. frick those guys.

VaTech would be a good fit, for football at least. Their basketball and baseball programs are lackluster.

Va Tech boosters wanted nothing to do with a SEC schedule. Per my uncle, former President of their booster club.

Thank you. For some reason people seem to think the SEC can get any school they want. Only 3 schools wanted to join the SEC.

Y'all quit being mean to Mizzou. They're here, they're not leaving. They were willing to step up and do it. So at least appreciate that.

Leaving decades old affiliations is no small matter.
