Do you think Bama stacks up well against A&M based on what we've seen so far? No trolling, just a straight question

Hard to tell. I can't say that I'm looking forward to the idea of A&M against our secondary, but it appears we've adopted a bit of a different strategy this year than in the past - using more of a bend-don't break defense. Case in point - plenty of scoring drives against us by WVU, who is a pretty good offensive team, but only one offensive TD.

Will that work against A&M? I'm not sure. We certainly couldn't stop them last year but on a few drives, but that may be key. Instead of assuming you're going to hold one of the most dynamic offenses to 300 yards, let them get their yards and force FGs instead of TDs.

I think, on the flip side, our offense works pretty dang well against them. Despite everything said about Kiffin, the simple fact of the matter is that he has opened up our playbook something fierce. Being in the top 10 in offense is something unusual for us, so a lot of people are forgetting that tidbit (and honestly, so are we - we're just not used to that).

On that note, in three games Alabama has punted 3 times. 2 3&outs (3 if you count a drive that went 3 plays before the half ended). The offense has gotten much more efficient than it's been in years past.

Ultimately, for A&M, the question will be "Can our defense slow down their offense enough for our offense to score more on their defense?" Right now, I would lean towards the opinion of "Yes", but it sure as heck wouldn't be easy and A&M winning the game would hardly be a surprise.

Cooper was probably the 5th best WR last season in the SEC. Talent at WR is way down in the SEC this season, so yeah, he may be the best or second best.

He's still elite. Very comparable to Odell Beckham Jr tbh. He's going to get his yards especially on short passes where he has a chance to utilize blockers.

Cooper was also hurt all year last year.

Cooper has elite speed, great hands and great body control. He is going to play in the league a long time if he stays healthy.

In response to the original question, I think Cooper could beat VH3 occasionally, but I'm not sure Blake Sims can get it to him. I'm sure it would take an accurate throw with some velocity. I'd like it to happen, but I'm not sure it would.

If you think Coach Saban is going to let sims throw towards VH3 then you dont know much about alabama. I think we throw Cooper some quick throws, and try to put him in the slot or backfield. This is the week OJ Howard shows out.

The question should be, can Sims get the ball to Cooper. VH3 will cover him tight, but Cooper will create space. Sims has to be able to throw the ball longer than 10 yards IMO if they are going to open it up.

UF is too quick to 2 yard pass them to death.

Although, Drizle is still their QB so who knows.

I think this is getting a tad overblown. Sims has made quite a few solid throws between 10-25 yards. The knock on him is that he can't make the long, over the top throw. Quite frankly, AJ seriously struggled to make that throw over stretches of time. If we have a 1 on 1 with Coop the throw just needs to be in the vicinity.

We'll see if he's good enough for all that or not.

VH3 is as good as it gets at a college CB. Having said that, I don't think there's a college CB that can CONSISTENTLY stop Coop. They'll both have their moments but it Florida concentrates on stopping one player it'll be a long day.

I think this is the game OJ makes some 5* linebacker or safety look foolish.
