Yes - that is terrifying. Like waking me up in the middle of the night with cold sweats terrifying.

Do you think Bama stacks up well against A&M based on what we've seen so far? No trolling, just a straight question.

I would like to see A&M a few more times against competent competition before deciding, but so far yea it's not looking good.....though I think USCe's pass defense may be the worst in the league, so need to see more.

Yep, so long as Eddie Jackson is healthy.

I was about to ask the same thing, because I don't think we matchup well at all with A&M up to this point. If our CBs don't figure out how to look back and find the ball, then we may be in for a long day against A&M. Now my opinion may change the closer we actually get to that game, but as of today A&M worries me more than anyone else on our schedule.

You Bama guys better watch replay of UF-UK and watch # 6 on defense. Dante Freaking Fowler...6'4 and 260 lb guided missle...we will stop Bamas run game and force Bama into too many second/third and longs...Sims will be lifted at halftime (or sooner when crowd gets restless)but both he and Coker will be wearing Dantes aftershave in the 4th quarter.
Bama hasn't faced a real SEC defense yet...but they will on Saturday....Sims craps his pants and Coker pees himself.

they are going to have more trouble with our offense than we will with their offense. our D is not as good as some years past, but its better than the abortion that is their defense. I really think sims is going to give SEC teams fits who are used to playing us a certain way. you are not going to sack him, if you cover us perfectly hes just gonna run for 5-10 yards on 3rd down. We can play offense alot of different ways, including read option if it comes to that. If sims just takes care of the ball, throws to the open player (if teams blanket cooper then someone has got to be open), runs when noone is open, and if we start slipping the tight ends out there are just too many options for anyone to stop.

You mean the game where Kentucky had 450 yards?

Yea, I watched it. Well done.

It'll take more than just Jackson. A&M plays 4 WRs at one time constantly, and everything I've seen so far tells me that those 4 WRs are pretty darn good.

ETA: Again, my opinion can change though in the next few weeks.

I don't know if anyone knows enough to say what aTm is......

Yes, they destroyed USCe....but what is that saying?....

truth be told, this can be said about every team in the SEC right now.....

Hopefully we trust the young kids a little more by then.

Probably not gonna be a great outcome either way.

Yep.

Think we all have a pretty good grasp of where Vandy is, though.

Agreed, and I believe we have the playmakers on defense to minimize their success against us, but IMO, it starts with Jackson.

I think that against teams like A&M having DePriest running with slot guys and RBs is as scary as anything in the back end.

When it was 3-3 at halftime I thought you guys had a pretty good D and a crappy O. When it was 30-30 I didn't think you were good on either side.

Best CB in the SEC vs. arguably the best WR in the SEC.

Who wins that matchup?

I think Cooper gets at least 1 TD, but Hargreaves gets 1 INT.

Pharoh Cooper? #11 WR for SCAR who Spurrier said is so good he insisted he get to wear his old number ...

Best CB in the nation vs the best WR in the nation

If VHIII shadows Coop at all times (including slot and backfield) then Coop may be in for a long day.

I'm gonna give Coop 6 catches for 60 yards, with 30 of them coming on one play. But VHIII will get his.

With White back and SEC play beginning, we may use Coop as bait a lot to throw to White and Howard. Both are very capable of big numbers.

(1) Can we run on Florida effectively. If we can get into 2nd and 3rd in short and get Blake in easy PA bootleg type plays then I think we will be in pretty good shape.
i would really like Blake to fake the rollout on ever hand off. RG3 did that well his first year in Washington and the defense was kind of clueless.
