Yeah because Corbin has a long history of burning out elite pitchers.
Corbin gave him a chance to finish a rare CG shutout. One runner on in the 9th and he was done but instead he K'd the side.

I watched the last few innings. It was the best pitching performance I have seen this year and I have watched a bunch of games.

I read an article recently about Vanderbilts supplemental money. It basically said that's how vandy is able to get pitchers on their team, that no other SEC program could get away from signing a pro contract.

That kid has a nasty game for sure. Obviously he's got the skill to remain a starter but I could see someone develop him into a lockdown 50 save a year guy in the Bigs. Vandy has the best staff in college baseball. I've a feeling that honor will go to LSU next season with the way their six freshmen pitchers are looking.

I live in Nashville and they always beat State. I have grown to hate that place but I still respect em.
