That was impressive. Fulmer is a badass. I wish we played you this year. Well, not really but a Fulmer/Lange matchups would be badass. Lange struck out 13 in 6 six innings abainst Ole Miss a few weeks ago.

I haven't watched baseball this year. What a boring sport. Doesn't help the beer is overpriced at the stadium.

Well it's not like you can strive to be national champions when you haven't been to Omaha in 40 years. We've been there now so now if we're having a good season we can realistically have that expectation.

Well, I agree that this season is more or less of a pass, but going to Omaha as one of the top 5 highest "effort" baseball schools in the country, after not being there for 40+ years, and then having your first losing season in 20 years, isn't exactly acceptable.

Is Fulmer on a full scholarship? How many Vanderbilt players are on fully paid scholarships?

I would suspect that he is but not sure. 11.7 scholarships per team.

Vandy has different ways to spread their scholarships around being a private institution. Huge advantage in baseball and that's why Vandy always gets top tier talent. When you can add supplemental money to the 11.7 plus Vandy education, you get elite baseball players.

Vandy's the easiest job in the SEC by far. It's a shame it took that long for Corbin to get a title with the talent that's run through there.

Every student at Vandy receives need-based money. Obviously a degree from Vandy and playing for Corbin is a huge draw.

Corbin definitely has it rolling now. Great game to be at last night.

Is Bianco only as good as his assitants?
McDonnell and Godwin left and Bianco struggles.

And why was Fulmer still in that game at the end? Talk about burning up arms. Those guys have pro futures and Corbin runs them into the ground.
