That was pretty good. I chuckled.

It's afraid it's gonna get it's arse kicked. Typical for anything related to Tennessee.

After that, there's a world of difference between coaching at Texas Tech & Washington State versus a place that sees contending for their division as the lowest acceptable level of performance. That's a ton of pressure.

I like Leach and think he's a good coach, but I agree.

People forget he was in Lubbock for a decade. He likely wouldn't have ever left without being fired. I think he enjoys winning enough at places where it's tough to win. I just don't see his demeanor meshing well in Knoxville or any other high profile program.

Leach wouldn't leave Washington State for Tennessee

You're frickin' crazy, kid.

He'd go to Tennessee tomorrow if he could. How in the frick would you turn down a job like that if you're not at a massive program already?

Would be an awful hire.

Why hasn't he left Washington State already? You know he has had larger programs come calling.

He never left Texas tech until Craig James forced him out. Leach is not the usual coach, money is obviously not his primary concern.

Zero chance Leach fields teams whose defense doesn’t get lit up at least 3-4 times a year. More likely higher. The teams that figure out him on offense (i.e. Florida and Alabama) will pound us every time. He’s also a terrible recruiter. It would be an awful hire.

It would be awesome to have the Pirate in the SEC. We need more personalities back in this conference. Make it happen vols

He was at the top of a lot of lists back when he was still at Texas Tech and never left... He doesn't strike me as a guy who's driven to go try and chase greatness... I think the Bama poster earlier ITT nailed it... it comes down to what he values. 3M/season and low pressure vs 4.5M/season and winning/challenging for your division on the regular is the lowest of expectations he'd likely encounter.

Imma walk back my previous prejudice of Leach's defense. They're giving USC fits.

Terrible hire Vols, terrible.

USC has sleepwalked through the early part of this season.

And now they're behind by a TR with 10 minutes to go. Let's go WSU!

Just a hypothetical, how would Leach do at LSU? His air raid with LSU talent would be vicious.

Better than Orgeron but not as well as Miles.

No this USC team just sucks. Needed ot to beat Texas with a freshman qb. They have let anyone and everyone put a ton of points up on them.

Is that the Wazzu that is heading for the top 10 and just beat the supposed best team in their conference?

Would you rather have Tee Martin? USCw fans are hoping you take him.

He is a Tier III candidate per tOfficial VOLS Hot Board.

Imo Tee would be a recruiting god if he were VOLS head coach
