Not really. Put a product that is halfway decent on the floor and we fill the gym and get excited bout basketball. Filled it up during the Wimp era, the Gottfried era and most of the Grant era. It's pretty consistent throughout the years.
Some loud people seem to find pride in letting everyone know they don't care about other sports, but the majority of the non-Wal Mart fanbase cares about basketball and baseball (and basically anything else that exists with athletes wearing Crimson).

I've spent the entire offseason thinking about whether we can make the NCAA tournament when Sexton and Petty inevitably run into eachother on a screen and crack eachothers hips.
That's just how my brain works with Alabama basketball.

It's that time of year again for people to pretend like Alabama people don't care about basketball.
And a double helping this year as we are better than past years so you get "they don't care" plus the "oh now they care"! A true smorgasbord of fun.
