Haha I can't defend my fellow rebel. The UT mess really is going to be a shite show and nothing good can come of it from here out.

That's cool but I missed it.

I didn't miss the articles pouring across the Bing MSN feeds on UT though.

Just bow out gracefully. Forget it ever happened.

Whatever bruh.

Ole Miss isn't going to get any serious penalties.

You can hope and wish all you want.

You really should read both articles.

One is about a Notice of Allegations over some minor recruiting violations.

The other is about a series of rapes covered up by a school administration.

Not even remotely comparable.

UT will have federal investigators on campus and is subject now to federal courts......and then the NCAA.

Ole Miss had a little NCAA investigation with NO, NONE, NADA smoking guns. No 250K payout to a player. No hiring prostitutes. Just a loaner car and some old grade stuff.

We'll be fine. UT is fricked.

Here's a bit of old but very true advice:

When you find yourself in a hole, your first course of action should be to stop digging.

Ole Miss story (singular) wasn't "big."

UT's initial story (there will be more for them) even got video.

The UT story will make CNN/MSNBC/Fox and all the rest of the news.

Hide and watch.

So the OM story was not on Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, USNWR, ESPN, Washington Post, Huffington Post, MSN, etc... ?

Maybe it was on some or all.

It won't be a recurring headline for months though which is exactly what UT is facing.

This rape stuff will have legs. The Ole Miss stuff was boring from a news perspective from the get-go.

You keep trying to keep it comparable though.

Rape = loaner car
