Wow. No opinion, but I don't think sports stories make it there as a rule.

A former Tennessee football player confirms that he assisted a woman who said she had been raped by two other players and he was later attacked by teammates and told by coach Butch Jones that he had betrayed the team

That's one hell of a headline.

How thankful are Ole Miss fans that this story dropped?

Nobody cared outside these types of forums.

You sure didn't see US News and World Report running big stories on it.

This stuff is at an entirely different level.

You're mistaken. This is the kind of stuff that will bring down college football as a whole. Social Justice Warriors hate athletics.

You really should read both articles.

One is about a Notice of Allegations over some minor recruiting violations.

The other is about a series of rapes covered up by a school administration.

Not even remotely comparable.

UT will have federal investigators on campus and is subject now to federal courts......and then the NCAA.

Ole Miss had a little NCAA investigation with NO, NONE, NADA smoking guns. No 250K payout to a player. No hiring prostitutes. Just a loaner car and some old grade stuff.

We'll be fine. UT is fricked.

I think the existence of articles of both on US News was the point, not the contents of the articles/accusations.

Nobody cares if Ole Miss loaned Tunsil a car and/or fixed a few grades.

Small time stuff right there.

Ole Miss can't be hit hard unless they want to just tear down UL basketball and UT football.

US news and world report seemed to care enough to write an article on it. "This stuff is at an entirely different level."

That's cool but I missed it.

I didn't miss the articles pouring across the Bing MSN feeds on UT though.
