Bottom line - Newton was a young, immature punk that acted out at FLA. Cecil was obviously a pretty stern fellow and he knew best and sent him to Blinn. Taught Cam some humility, gave him time to grow up and get his shite straight. Lucky for Cam and AU that he went to the plains, turned out to be a win-win for all involved.

He was about to be expelled for Academic issues-- that's something a Coach can't override, seriously, if someone cheats or plagarizes and gets caught and its bad enough to go to the Academic Disciplinary committee instead of being able to convince the Professor to drop it, I don't think even a Nick Saban could keep him eligible.

During the ATPB period, you could have written an article saying Cam Newton was the second gunman in Dallas, the 20th hijacker on 9/11 and responsible for the Designated Hitter rule in baseball and gotten it published.
