Cecil was obviously a pretty stern fellow and he knew best and sent him to Blinn. Taught Cam some humility, gave him time to grow up and get his shite straight.

Im certainly not a card carrying fan of one Urban Meyer,,,,first...he is a Yankee and second he had a tendency to act like his poop was special.
Im glad we have Boom as our HC.
Certainly not bitter that Cam went elsewhere. AU fans are a little shallow....what if Cammy had gone to Bama under the same circumstances? Holy bat poop we would NEVER hear the end of the razing from the tractor pullers. So get a grip plainsmen and realize how things look outside your cow pasture. That is all.

This. That was 2010 and you got a national championship auburn folks... time to let it go. Who cares what Urban thought early in his career.. you should be thankful for whatever happened that eventually landed him at AU.

I'd be proud, and am proud of Cam for growing up. He was took down a peg, and got his head straight in JUCO. Went and dominated at Auburn, then dominated his rookie year (seriously, what he did as a rookie was one of the greatest statistical seasons by a NFL QB player period. He has now been to the playoffs, and is one of the top 10 best QBs in the NFL. He gives back to the community, especially little kids. Man, it's just great to see somebody not crash and burn after been kicked out a school, but actually grow up and strive to be better and succeed.
I mean the laptop thing and cheating on grads are definitely bad things, but I wouldn't say he was a troubled kid or anything close to that. He was just a stupid kid.
