Doing a mental evaluation on him is by far one the most retarded things I've ever heard of.

He's a dumbass redneck Alabama fan that got pissed that Auburn beat Alabama, then poisoned the trees to piss us off and got caught.

How many times before have those trees been poisoned? Add in the fact that he got himself arrested over a $30 dispute makes me think the dude definitely has some loose screws.

This was all fake news.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm not seeing that. I'm seeing these articles in CBS, ESPN. I don't see anything debunking it.

Those all come from the espn article which they never retracted but was debunked.

I'd put it more on Harvey, since he's changed lawyers at least 3 times (I know one of his current ones, actually)

Do you have a suggestion that would be mutually agreeable???

Would he take the T-Baggers Deal, 2 years (serve 9 months)??? I would be OK with House Arrest without access to the internet or cable....

He has stated that any deal that involved prison time would not work, that it would be a life sentence....

Pretty sure Harvey's attorney whatever his name is/was(I believe he has a new one) said they would not accept anything.

I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe some retarded facebook thing. But I guarantee you Tide for Toomer's raised more.

Harvey Updyke, the Alabama fan who is accused of poisoning the famous oak trees at Toomer's Corner at Auburn University, turned down a plea offer from prosecutors that would have required him to spend 13 years in prison and never attend a Crimson Tide sporting event for the rest of his life, a source close to the case told ESPN.com on Friday.
------------------
Just on the surface, that seems made up... Never attend an event in Auburn, I could believe...

They haven't said anything. Other than they haven't had time to get themselves fully up to date on the case yet.

Ah well, the least we can do is bolster his spirit with a hearty NtY.

Updyke is already permanently banned by the UA administration from attending University of Alabama-related events in Tuscaloosa.
