Although that quote doesnt state exactly what the police report states. Pettaway was involved in one, and stood to the side for the other, while he knew what was going to happen.

It's obvious that you don't know the difference in an initial arrest warrant and the culmination of a case. Hint: check the final disposition of the cases for your answer.

I agree with the sentiment that Pettaway should not have been allowed back on the team. The general consensus is was only "there"....and prior to that had no behaviorial issues anywhere in his past.
Irrespective, I was completely dismayed when Saban allowed him back. We don't know all the facts, especially the AU fans in this thread, so Saban made the call.
I agree he should get a second chance...I just don't think it should be at Bama. i don't care how talented he is, we didn't need this press. Gieven how we are recruiting, we don't need him....espcially after this incident.

I dont either. I mean its dependent on other factors as well, but the majority should get them.

Linebacker Tyler Hayes, 18, and safety Eddie Williams, 20, confessed to robbing a student who was punched in the head and face and kicked in the ribs and back early Monday morning, according to court documents. Williams said D.J. Pettway, 20, a defensive lineman, and Hayes waited in a nearby vehicle about an hour later while he knocked out and robbed another student. Williams and Hayes both admitted to their involvement, according to the documents.
Williams and running back Brent Calloway, 20, both admitted to using a stolen credit card to buy snacks from vending machines inside a dormitory, the documents said. All four students were indefinitely suspended by coach Nick Saban.
