nice effort!

and the rant voters can't be any worse than the idiots voting at Media Days, so this has as much weight as any other poll.

I discovered that I could delete previous filters and use a new one. I'm just limited to 1 filter. Thanks for the offer though!

I can email you the excel file if you'd like to play with the data. I've only had brief encounters with statistics in ChE Labs in college, and I quickly forgot the material as it seemed all we ever determined for sure was that we couldn't actually determine anything

I dont think Ive seen any Arkansas fans predicting to be sec champs, I see us finishing middle of the pack or higher. Let the season get closer & the hype train start floating and things will change.

You're gonna have to do some SEC East breakdowns as well. I was surprised see the Missouri Tennessee order of finish, though that's exactly how I voted them.

Bear in mind that 75% of the data comes from fans of SEC West teams, also. Breakdowns of the SEC East teams' votings will probably be less telling due to the small sample size (ex. only 5 UF fans participated in the poll).

The data would suggest the average SEC ranter would agree that's a reasonable prediction. I have LSU/Arkansas/A&M on the same tier, but I gave LSU the nod for 3rd since we get both of y'all at home. I could see them all being interchangeable though at this point.

Yea, this season everyone we play we can beat just as easily lose too (in SEC play) considering the unknowns. I can't remember the last time the SEC has had so few proven QB's so it will be an interesting year.

eta: I will predict there will be a lot more INT's this year than the past couple, so it may be a defensive year.

You've got mail, amigo. Sorry for the layout though. I'm terribly disorganized when it comes to excel.

Here's Alabama response vs. the rest. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but thought some may be interested.

South Carolina was the least represented (assuming everyone answered truthfully) at only 2 participants.

I'm going to have to do the Arkansas only and Mississippi State only graphs so we can get a feel for how confident each individual fanbases are. So far we've found that Auburn fans are more confident that Alabama fans, Ole Miss fans are equally as confident as LSU fans, and A&M fans are the least confident.

Clearly, there are some people who just can't check their biases at the door.

Definitely disorganized.

I responded. Need individual responses (names not necessary) to calculate the variance I'm after.

wasn't me,, actually I didn't vote in this but had I known you would do all this work, I would have.

only difference in my vote would have been USC ahead of FL in the East and Aggie/possibly Ole Miss up 1 and Arky back 1.. that's not much difference at all.
