Doubt LSU got outbid. I think it had more to do with Alleva getting frustrated dealing with herman/Jimbo so he just said frick it and hired O since there was some O momentum

Aranda is gonna get a good HC gig in coming years..
Why would he want to go to Texas and that reclamation project full of soft 7-on-7 camp softies, and face the Big 12's gadget-fest of basketball on grass isolation plays in space?
At Wisky and LSU he faces plenty of of balanced Os. And had rosters of tough kids to work with..

There's a thread on tiger rant talking about how Aranda will stay at LSU because ut doesnt have any talent.
UT is a shitshow, sure, but there's plenty of talent there.

If Texas wants him, they will get him. LSU isn't winning a bidding war with Texas.
