Won't argue there which is why Ole Miss is really the only game left on our schedule I'm afraid of. That still doesn't put you the team to beat RIGHT NOW.

We lost the Col in 2003 I think?? Around there anyways. The Bear named Rebel came about in 2011. The Akbar thing while fun was never really truly an option. George Lucas is a lawsuit happy dick.

The options were mostly horrible. That being said, if the election were held again today, I bet the Landshark would win. The landshark came in second in 2011 but then it was thought of as only a football defense mascot. While it is still mostly a symbol for our defense, M. Henderson demonstrated that it can be utlized with other sports as well.

While still not embracing the bear most are losing interest in fighting over a guy in a stuffed suit. I really think the whole landshark thing has helped.
