How about you average in 2007 Auburn in that calculation

This is literally the dumbest shite I've ever seen, but you people keep bringing it up.

That was the worst team Saban has had since he was at Toledo. The same team that lost to ULM, and clearly an outlier and anomaly.

Why the glorified pissing match? Malzahn excels at offense and Saban is a defensive mastermind.

Saban evolved by upping his offense to counter. Malzahn is doing the same with defense.

This should make for even better games and more exciting matchups in the SEC.

I wasn't proving a point, I was making sure the OP knew that his data wasn't factually correct.

The dumbest shite I've ever seen is the OP choosing what to include and not to include in his factually incorrect OP because he didn't like the circumstances at the time.

Remember that Nick taught Boom much of what he knows about defensive schemes during their 5 year run at LSU. The Teacher nearly always bests the pupil in matchups where talent is relatively even. Bear used to school his former assistants back in the day.

Holy shite at the irony.

Saban hasn't beaten an Auburn team with 9 wins, right?

Well that proves that Saban only beats the Auburn teams that multiple other team's beat too but can't beat the good ones. They are not leaving years out.

The OP is wanting to pretend that year didn't happen. Now what does leaving out a year Saban didn't score much prove? That Saban averages that many points if you leave out the bad year?

That when Saban has a team that's worth a shite, he curbstomps Will Muschamp defenses.

It's Saban's fault the team wasn't worth a shite. Besides it proves the OP's post was Bs.

Plus the whole point was to show what's gonna happen in the future and Bama is losing their offense (Cooper) so it's not like they are guaranteed to be worth a shite next year.

It was Saban's fault that his 2007 team wasn't worth a shite? Are you trolling me right now?

We could lose every single player on our 2 deep roster on offense and still not be as bad as the 2007 team was.

How did we do after we lost our entire offense (McElroy, Ingram, Julio) following the 2010 season?

I love Bama logic. So now HC's don't get credit for their first year or is this just only if it favors Bama?

You can't be serious. He inherited one of the least talented teams in Bama history. Managed to take national champion LSU to the wire, top 10 ranked UGA to OT, and lost to Auburn by a touchdown. Also lost to ULM. Of course he gets credit for that season.

But that season in no way, shape, or form is any indicator of how Saban performs against Muschamp led defenses. 2007 was a complete anomaly and unless you think Saban will ever field another team anywhere close to that talent deprived, it's absolutely irrelevant to this conversation. When he's got talent on his roster - he curbstomps Muschamp defenses. There's nothing you can say to change that. That's just the way it is.

Auburn doesn't get credit for Iron Bowl losses? Or is it only when it favors Auburn to bring up their number of wins?

No one is taking away or ignoring his wins against Auburn. They just pointed out that his wins were against the worse Auburn teams.

The OP and even you apparently are trying to pretend 2007 never happened so you can say he averages more than he does. If the OP said that he averaged that when he has a good offense then it would be different. If people start claiming he is 0-3 against Auburn then you can say they are doing the same thing.
