We had Major Applewhite as our OC, ULM held us to 14 that year. I guess ULM's DC = Boom.

Oh my God, what a pussy.

That's all fine and good, but your original post's title is still wrong.

It's a good hire for auburn, but you can't deny that Saban has had no issues at all scoring on him.

Hence the change in status on the defense.

With a decent defense, 44 points should win almost every game.

Aub won't score 44 every year, genius. Aub had a better offense last year and the offense only scored 28 at home against a worse Bama defense. You guys seem to think 44 is guaranteed every year so if Boom can hold Bama under that it's an automatic win. Doesn't quite work that way.

Yeah, he's been pretty successful, but that in no way changes that this guy's post is completely false. Should be a good series because Gus has been pretty successful against Bama's defense also.

So nice to read sarcasm "genius" intermingled with a hint of fear.

44 points in your house. I like the odds next year.

No, we think Muschamp is an upgrade over Johnson in both coaching and recruiting.

Let the poor barners cheer for something this season. It been pretty dismal for their fans the last few weeks.

Yep, 44 points in our house. And still a double digit loss. When's the last time auburn had a double digit win in the iron bowl?

Saban doesn't coach offense.

And Bama won't score 40+ against us every time. It works both ways.

But it somehow does mean Bama will always score a lot against Muschamp though right?

What did Saban ever see in that loser anyway?

Well, let me tell you the story of another loser...
