Better sign a few 5 star receivers before NSD because you lose half your team

Saban doesn't coach offense.

Saban coaches EVERYTHING. Is he right 100%? No. Still, Nick Saban is light years ahead of EVERYONE else.

How about you average in 2007 Auburn in that calculation, seeing how Saban's 2007 Alabama team scored 10 points on a Muschamp defense at Auburn.

Shula recruits, saban first season, no saban players, 3 games were played since then. If you wanna average that in fine by me but if that's the case then we will just ignore gussy's air attack against us this past year and just assume he will have an offensive performance like he did at your own house in 2011 scoring a whopping ZERO offensive points.

Was it Saban against Muschamp's defense? It was, so include it. The OP is false without it. BTW, who cares what you say about Gus' offense? It's completely unrelated to this topic.

Aub won't score 44 every year, genius. Aub had a better offense last year and the offense only scored 28 at home against a worse Bama defense. You guys seem to think 44 is guaranteed every year so if Boom can hold Bama under that it's an automatic win. Doesn't quite work that way.

Right, dumb logic only works when it favors the bama point of view. We all know this.

Ha! Your late garbage time TDs mean nothing. Bama should of won that game by 19...

Nonetheless, who cares, still got the W! 55-44

That was a whole lot of words to say "I understand that the OP is deliberately lying to make a talking point"

The Lane Train is still here. Just because you scored 44 this year (one late TD and two-point conversion..) with two future NFL receivers, a DB at QB who is surprisingly accurate on deep balls, and a scat back who couldn't make it at Bama, doesn't mean you will next year when they're gone and Bama returning the majority of its defense.

But it somehow does mean Bama will always score a lot against Muschamp though right?

44 is a singular event, 39 is an average over several events. Which do you find to be more probable of repeating?

Technically the average is 31.75 points, if we are looking at the criteria of the average number of points a Saban coached Alabama team has scored on a Will Muschamp led defense.

It's still impressive, not sure why the OP has to misrepresent data to prove a point.

With Gus as a head coach Auburn has averaged 39 PPG vs Smart. Your math was wrong on Bama's average.

It's a great hire. Auburn should win the championship every year w the highest paid coaching staff in the country. Anything less would be a failure of epic proportions

Saban can't take credit for Bama's offensive output. He doesn't call the plays. It is not his scheme. I don't see how we lump McElwain numbers together with Lane Kiffin numbers and say that the trend is going to continue because Saban is the head coach. Kiffin has played Muschamp once. One game is too small of a sample size to say that Bama is going to continuously put up 600 yards and 40 points on Muschamp.
