You guys got a good one, IMO. He owned Mathews from A&M. Great speed rusher. Good kid.

Not much of a speed rusher. More of a I hope the secondary holds up until I get to the QB rusher. Sam and Ealy both got to the QB a lot faster last season.

We've already got Justin Houston and Tamba Hali at OLB. Both had 11 sacks last season. This wasn't a value pick and it wasn't a need pick. It definitely was a Chiefs pick though.

The Schottenheimer Curse still alive and kicking?

I will be laughing about that "insight" for days.

"Not much of a speed rusher".

You wouldn't be saying this if it was Kony Ealy.

Good pick. Can never go wrong with good pass rushing. Especially against Denver and San Diego.

And he's a SS.

Houston and Tamba got hurt last season, pass rush was done. And when you have no pass rush, you give up a 28 point 3rd quarter lead in the playoffs to a team that is doing nothing but passing.

My guess is taking Ford means Hali will be cut. He has the nith largest salary cap hit in the league.

Hali's $

Look for them to restructure to get better overall.

Exactly.

Odell has the elite measurables.

Personally, I think Jarvis is the better RECEIVER.

If he's a good player, that pans out, it wasn't a bad pick, regardless of need. What? 50-60% of players, regardless of position, don't live up to their first round grade. As long as they pan out, it's fine.
