There were no first round safeties left, did you want to reach for Lee at WR?

Read the pick wrong.

Did you become a KC fan just today?

Yup. I talk football without emotional ties to my team during the draft

What WR did you want with that pick?

Preferably one that can catch a damn football. Something we don't currently have. I don't have any particular player in mind but our receivers are shite.

Oh please stop being so dramatic

If you are a chiefs fan and haven't killed yourself yet nothing in this draft could have pushed you to that point.

Thank you for saying that for me. Hali is getting old and injury prone. The Chiefs were also non existant on substitional pass rushing. I bet they are grooming Ford to take over for Hali sooner than what many may expect.

This has been a strange draft so far though.

I'm sure the decades of experience in the KC front office are suitably impressed by your football knowledge and experience, Gomer.

Tamba Hali may not last past next season Chiefs fans. You let Ford learn OLB for a season and then you dump 31 year old Hali and have a guy ready to replace him.

Easy to do when they are involved too. These aren't my kids. This is a business and I can understand that. I'm not some lonely loser that prides myself on accomplishments and draft picks of some kid on the football team of the school I graduated from

"Hali tipped the scales at 284 pounds last week. The Chiefs list him at 275 on their official website but would obviously like him to play lighter. By selecting Auburn OLB Dee Ford with the No. 23 overall pick Thursday night, the Chiefs are sending a message Hali's way even though they desperately needed receiver and offensive-line help. The Chiefs can save $9 million by cutting Hali in 2015"

That's exactly what I would say if my school didn't have anybody drafted yet.

Awwww, so cute. Still resorting to childish name calling and lack of support posting. Nice.

Good teams don't draft for need in the 1st round. They take the best players.

Seriously? Is this your first NFL draft?
