I don't think that was a deal I think if the chiefs had a second round pick he would quite possibly have been in that round

KC top 4 WRs:

Dwayne Bowe
Donnie Avery
Junior Hemmingway
AJ Jenkins

Don't tell me it's not stupid to pass on a WR

I don't know how you can complain about getting Dee Ford that late in the 1st round.

Because the already have. Good defensive front. They have no DBS or WR depth and don't get a 2nd round pick. No one is arguing the kids talent, but it was a dumb pick

We need a WR desperately. We have NOBODY. Dwayne Bowe is incredibly overrated. We need a safety. Eric Berry is all we have and he's half a linebacker. We have more pressing needs than DE.

Damn - I wish I could defend the pick better, but all your points are valid. We didn't do extremely well in free agency either.

I was a lot more upset when we burned an 11 pick on Dontari Poe

Maybe they've got someone ahead of him that will have a huge salary cap hit in the near future that Ford will replace at a much much lower price.

You're playing checkers, dumbass, while GM's are playing 3-dimensional chess.

Hold your breath until your pussy QB gets picked, pup. It'll be good for you.

Dee is a damn stud

This makes me feel a little better. However we have a couple stud DEs already and zero studs at WR.

I mean, Dee Ford is legitimately good and just had an unbelievable year as part of a defensive line that masked deficiencies pretty much everywhere else on defense. He also had an unbelievable attitude all year and was a leader of the team.

That's all I got, he's a good football player and was the best one we had on defense last year.

Have any receivers been picked beside Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins? If those are the only two gone, you still have plenty left.

Keep in mind Chiefs next pick is in 3rd round. WR talent won't be top notch there
