You comparing MSU's read option ability to AU's?

Or is that just a friendly FYI?

Are you seriously bragging about stopping MSU's offense?

Even AU's 2010 team only put up around 100 or so yards on the ground against Alabama running largely the same offense. That was with Cam hitting several home run passes. Anything over 150 on the ground would be pretty huge for Auburn. Bottom line is Marshall is going to have to be effective making plays in the passing game.

UGA's numbers against the run (coming into this game) were deceiving because our offense has been so potent against the best running teams we've faced that they had to pass the ball to keep up.

We also hadn't played a gimmick option offense yet, so there's that.

Regardless, today didn't say as much about Auburn's offense (which is good) as it did about Georgia's defense. We suck, but that should have been obvious by all the other games we've played.

AU's run game is more prolific this year than in 2010, and the o-line is improved comparatively. Also, that game was in Tuscaloosa.

I'm not arguing that AU won't need the pass to win, I'm just stating AU will get 200 yards on the ground.

I don't think you can base an argument on how the 2013 game will unfold on how the 2010 game unfolded.

Basically the only thing that's the same is that Malzahn will be running the offense and Saban running the defense.

UGA has a better rush defense than LSU.

What would give you that impression? We held yall to over 100 yards less rushing.

Stats. They're ranked higher in rushing defense than you. You don't think that us having to pass a bunch in the 2nd half had anything to do with those numbers?

Maybe you would like to compare those stats to quality opponents?

Don't feel like looking all that up but in the UGA vs LSU game, they held y'all to 77 yards of rushing while y'all gave up 196 yards of rushing.

Nice misdirection. That is Malzhans specialty isn't it?

It's a better comparison than the one you used.

Are you trying to brag on stopping our read option run by -Tyler Russel- or the one lead by a true freshman QB?

Auburn is a much better team than we were vs LSU. We have progressed significantly, it really isn't comparable.
