No UGA fan, ever, says this as a reason for why he should be kept as our coach. It's only our rivals who regurgitate that garbage. Is he a nice guy? Of course. And we acknoweldge that. But NONE of us use that as a reason he should be kept as our coach.

I still dont understand how UGA fans accept this and just move on with Richt. The dude just isnt the answer to getting to the top of the SEC.

We lost a game. You want us to fire our coach after losing a 3 point game on the road to a ranked opponent?

We're 1-1 right now and ranked 14th. We have 11 games to move up 10 spots. Many teams in front of us play tough games. We play several of the teams ahead of us. The season isn't over by a long shot.

Let me make sure I understand you.

The people you know IRL say, exactly, "we don't like richt as a coach and would like him fired...BUT, he's nice. So we want to keep him"?

Is that right? If so those mongoloids are idiots and you shouldn't listen to anything they say, regarding football or otherwise.

once again, we can't fricking make coaching decisions. Whether we say "hell yeah we tried our best!" or "frick this fire everybody!", it doesn't affect anything. Greg McGarity is the only one making that decision. Not us. What we say doesn't mean shite.

No, when it gets brought up about Richt's job security the saying is usually "Well he still wins a lot of games, recruits well and is a likable guy"...it's like as a fanbase you're just a bunch of old people set in their ways.

Our fanbase isn't represented by the 4 people you know IRL. Most people on our board are 50/50 on him. There's plenty of points for why he should be here for a long time, also some points for why we maybe shouldn't. Him being nice doesn't factor into the equation at all.

You shouldn't pay attention to those handful of people you know IRL, just like I shouldn't pay attention to the LSU fans that think fournette is the GOAT after 3 games of not doing shite.

More can go wrong with a coaching hire than can go right. That is why MR is still at UGA.

So we should threaten to fire our coach every time we lose? How fricking reactionary can you be?

He also hasn't given us a slam dunk reason to fire him. Chizik had 2 year in a row of being horrendous. Dooley was awful. Zook never won anything. Shula stunk.

Most of these schools firing coaches, there was a SOLID reason for it. Richt wins about 10 games a year. Our administration would look foolish for firing him, especially since as of right now we're only 2 games into the season. Plus what grand slam coach (or..one that's better than richt) would come here after firing that type of coach?

A game with Clemson should never be used as a measuring stick as to where a team should be ranked or that team's chances for making the playoff. I know we played them in 2008 and that jumpstarted our season and moved us up pretty high in the polls, but still...

Why is so much importance attached to how you do against frickin' Clemson?

Clemson???

Bottomline: Are UGA Fans and Administrators happy just winning a lot of games and recruiting well or do they demand Championships ? It is become obvious now that with Richt, you can not have both.
