@BarrettSallee: Sort of surprised that Toby Johnson's late, cheap shot on Dylan Thompson isn't getting more run today. That was bad.

My dad is a GT alum, and while I wish they were relevant, they aren't. Their title happened before any player on their team was alive. It's still more recent than UGA, but that's because of the topic at hand.

So you're saying that they're irrelevant because their NC was 24 years ago?

No. They're irrelevant due to academic requirements..,also, winning a MNC 24 yrs ago has absolutely zero bearing on how well you compete today.

Stanford seems to be pretty relevant. In a tougher conference with just as strict requirements it seems. But they don't run a high school offense so they can actually convince people to go there.

Stanford doesn't rely on recruiting a state that finished in the bottom third of the nation in test scores.

USCe fan base is most underrated of all college fan bases. Bad loss to the Ags and they didn't implode ( maybe a few on the rant; let's face it, Cocks were bad) got behind their coach and team and won a huge game

They all went to that game yesterday expecting to lose. (Fixed) They were pleasantly surprised. Today they are all elated and got their swagger back.

Well when AU wins this week, you'll officially be 0-2 in your 'prediction' threads and posts pertaining to Auburn losing football games this season.
Maybe you're not very good at this.

I still dont understand how UGA fans accept this and just move on with Richt.

The dude just isnt the answer to getting to the top of the SEC.

Because THAT'S what I meant

It's the fact that every season Richt gets brought up as the coach to not lead UGA to the next level after he loses games he shouldn't and in the end most UGA fans just accept what they have and dont seem to ever care to even think about change.

"He's a nice guy"
"He still wins a lot of games"
"He recruits very well"

Wish refs had caught Gurley's head butt and ejected him. Need to get that bush league crap under control.

Defensive guy got the flag but it is hard to expect a player to walk away from being head butted after the whistle.

Yes. Is 24 years ago that long? I think they're still relevant because of it.
