And UGA football only has 2 more sec titles than Vanderbilt does over the last 30 years. UGA is an embarrassment to the sec. Losses to Boise and west va come to mind. Preseason #1 in 08 and then go on to lose the most games of any preseason #1 in college football history. Do us a favor and move to the ACC where yall belong.

Arkansas hitting coach Todd Butler would be a great choice to replace Perno, he's a recruiting monster. Texas came after him last season.

We lost 3 games the year we were preseason #1.

USC just set the benchmark this past year with 6 losses. 1984 Auburn lost 4. 2011 Oklahoma also lost 3, as did the 1997 Penn St team. Hell, Ole Miss was once preseason #1 and finished 5-5-1 back in the 60's.

You are an imbicile. Your post is bad, and you should feel bad.

I feel bad for UGAY and anybody that is a football fan of the school. Must be miserable to never win and to consistently lose home games in the GA dome. How on God's green earth can any sec team lose to boise or wvu at home? As for 08, sorry for my false info. maybe another blackout would help.

LSU has embarrassed the SEC in the GA Dome more recently than UGA has.

Who let the Corndog in?

2008: UGA was preseason #1. lost 3 games. beat michigan state in our bowl game.

2 seasons later (that would be 2010 for the corndog)
Bama was preseason #1. lost 3 games. beat michigan state in their bowl game.

It's football. we had a ton of injuries on the line that year and our running game suffered terribly for it. and we were what we were. a 3 loss team (lost to undefeated florida and undefeated bama i believe in the regular season. and like bama in 2010, we lost to our instate rival as well).

UGAY has only 2 more sec titles in the past 30 years than vandy does. Please enlighten me as to what UGAY has provided to the SEC in athletics besides gymnastics. LSU has more BCS titles in the past ten years than UGAY has overall football national championships. 1980 is all UGAY has. God that must suck.

It's such an eccentric picture, it could only have been taken in Tiger Stadium

I'm sure they'll talk to Jerry Meyer at SC, Kevin McCullin at Virginia, Cliff Godwin at Ole Miss, Scott Forbes at UNC, Kevin Schanll at UCF, Butch Thompson at MSU and Braldey LeCroy at Clemson.

Maybe they do the smart thing and actually take the good coach from Kentucky (Henderson) instead of the Dan Hawkins that another team got.

Arkansas hitting coach Todd Butler

Led the SEC in questionable pinch hitting moves at the end of a game.

I think Georgia should look at Matt Heath. Former LSU player. CoC hitting coach, Auburn hitting coach, back as CoC pitching coach.

Best known for this Heath still Hates Carolina

Yes, that's who they should get, a mid-major assistant coach.

It wasn't as much of Perno as it was Brady Weiderhold. That's what started Perno's decline.
Brady damn near brought the LSU program back to the pre Bertman years.

He was an assistant at UGA for 5 years before becoming the HC.
