I'm not worried about what yall did on offense. Yall did what you needed to stay in it.

And LSU had a lot more than 3 plays that got us the win. Most big plays are set up by a lot of other plays. There is little value in discussing only 3 big plays. It's not like there was any indication that we wouldn't have turned each one of those into 3 good plays with the same result.

And my post is as much directed towards the posters saying we needed gimmicks and tricks to win. Just because we used them, doesn't mean we needed them.

OK Mr Semantics "Two of your scores came from gimmicks." Those are your words.

Someone said LSU didn't need to resort to gimmicks and I pointed out that two scores were due to gimmicks

Sounds like you think we needed them.

You guys are so sensitive.

Because you're wrong.

He threw it up hoping his guy would make a play.

He threw it right at him and basically hit him in the numbers.
quote:

It was a prayer, a Hail Mary, call it whatever you like

It was neither of those things.

quote:

Harris made a play when initially there was none. The Gators showed could defense in defending the called play and Harris made something out of nothing

That doesn't make it a prayer or a Hail Mary.

He threw it on a rope to a 6'5 rec. He didn't throw it up. Good god.

You think the play at the end of the half didn't determine the game? If LSU doesn't make that play, Florida is right there with momentum. Maybe LSU runs things differently and drives down the field to score on the opening possession. Maybe not, but that play certainly changed everything about how the teams approached the be second half

You were posting in a thread about it on here if I remember correctly.

Honestly, I don't think I mentioned the run back at all. You are probably right. There are holds, illegal blocks, etc on almost every play. We are typically called for that so if we got away with one I'm good with that.

I like to mix compliments for the LSU guys here that know me and a little bait mixed in for the TR escapees. I have two or three of each in here now. Some are probably shaking their heads at their fellow LSU fans and others are getting really upset with me. One has already typed the word pussy and be a man like that's going to upset me.

Which board?

Gatorcountry is the only one I even remotely check out. Threads there on the LF7 "punch," the review on the Brian Cox fumble being wrong, mentions of the non-review on the Callaway catch on the sideline, and the game thread was a joke of "HOLDING!!!" calls. I swear, most fans don't know what holding is.

It sure did. It allowed LSU to become more conservative. Its no different than your long pass play that actually was more of an hail Mary and a great circus catch.

I think it changed the game plan in the second half, yes. I also think we were driving easily and a fg was likely, or even a few shorter passes that would have got us down there anyway. We scored with 20 seconds left, or about. It wasn't a last ditch end zone toss as time expired.

You would gain a lot more respect just by talking straight and not trying to troll. I suppose you think it is cute.

Hard to argue with that. I can't think of a team board I've been to that wasn't full of idiot homers.

Go over to 247 and read Swampchomp615. Guy is off his rocker. Actually used to like him years ago, but I think something happened to him in his personal life that wrecked him.

a not an

Not a hail mary. Treon threw it on a rope. A frozen fricking rope. To a receiver. That was some unknown height because if they are listed at 6'5" they are more like 5'9". Those damn schools lie about how tall these guys are all the time.

It was on a rope straight to a specific rec who had a clear size advantage over his defender. A hail Mary is throwing it up amongst a group of individuals and hoping to get lucky. That you can't understand that says it all.

Definitely not on a rope, but there was nothing desperate or Hail Mary'y about it.

You are right. Dupre is sub 6'. All the publications had it wrong when they tagged him as the top rec in high school. Done with you now. Not worth it you have shown your complete ignorance and troll status.
