No, it's not. You can walk around with a drink on campus on gameday in most places, I think. Certainly you can at LSU.

Don't be an arse, you can walk around Gainesville with a drink, in a cup. LSU is not the standard for the SEC, for sure. Just don't show your arse and you will be fine in Gainesville but please stay away if you have concerns. More tickets available for Gator fans.

Our last road trip to Gainesville was in 2014 and we were not harrassed at all. Had a blast as a matter of fact...

Not just UF cops. My friends that have gone have told me that any car with a Louisiana plate was pulled over all the way across the panhandle.

Not the cops, it's the fans. Terrible even in victory. Regardless of what ppl want to say about LSUs fan base most are genuine, easy going people. UF fans suck

I've been to Gainesville one time. Had a beer with some Gators at a tailgate. Did not walk across campus just at a tailgate. Use common sense and you'll be fine

I've been to multiple LSU-UF football games in Gainesville and I've met a bunch of LSU fans.
I can tell you they all had fun.
I really wonder who in here HAS actually been to a game in Gainesville before and who is just sitting in their living room spouting off bullshite with no facts.
Our cops aren't the greatest, but don't act like a dumbass and you will be fine.
It's really that simple.

Use a solo cup and stay away from the drunk fraternity kids and all should be good.
