I remember when John Vaughn missed 5 or 6 FGs against LSU in 05 I believe. He was harassed hardcore.

We don't cannibalize our own like that. This is more of a Jake Holland hatefest kind of vibe.

Still beats the soccer ref who got beheaded in Brazil awhile back

Didn't that ref stab a player to death first?

This is why a team should never give fans hope. Hope is just the precursor to rage and despair. If a program truly cares about its fans, it will lose every game so that their expectations can never be raised high enough to be dashed.

This is why John L. Smith is now known far and wide as "The Bankrupt Arkansas Gandhi" and why the name "Dooley" is far more revered in Knoxville than in Athens.

First...I blame the qb for rolling too far to the left making the FG a harder kick.

Second...I blame the holder for not turning the laces completely around.

Third....Id blame Mizzous defense for laying down like a fifty dollar hooker and letting USC back in the game.

Fourth, I'd blame his Momma for giving birth to him and that pulling left leg of his.

Seriously? The QB was running around trying to get in the end zone to win the game. Can't fault him for trying to score, I doubt he was worried about the field goal being off-center.

How about our defense that held them to 3 points in the 2nd half? How about Shaw stepping in and leading the offense to victory?

Mizzou was averaging like 44 points a game before Saturday night. We held them to their lowest score of the season by far and they had an overtime where they scored again.

The lowest amount they had scored all year was 36. Held them to over half of that at 17 in regulation.
