Have you seen any reports saying they are not practicing ?
Reporters only see them going to practice and afterwards. Like most schools today, AUs practices are closed.

I know both practiced a little last week. Lawson could be on the crutches just to take all movement out of that leg so it can heal faster. I read where his dad said it doesn't bother him unless he is just standing still. Who knows who is out and going to play, Gus never gives any info. Lawson, Mathews, Russell, Garrett, Hosley, Young, and Jovon. That is a ton we could be missing this week and we need all of them. Luck has run out at the plains

We certainly need both.
Hopefully Lawson is on crutches to expedite healing.
If Mathews plays, he's gonna go out at the first contact on that shoulder.
The D line takes a big step back without Lawson in there.
