Ingram hasn't lived up to the hype.
Lassic, Sherman Williams, Jelks, to name a few. Alexander was the only good pro rb bama has produced

If Trent Richardson is the worst running back of all time then Bo Jackson is easily the most overrated athlete in the history of sports.

Trent Richardson played 8 more games in his career than Bo Jackson and their stats are very similar.

Why don't we compare stats from actually GOOD running backs, most of whom played for shitty teams, unlike Marcus Allen's raiders.

In their first TWO seasons, consisting of 32 games or fewer, (6 fewer than Bo's Career)

Eric Dickerson had 3,907 rushing yards, 32 rushing TDs, 543 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns.

Marshall Faulk had 2,360 rushing yards, 22 rushing TDs, 997 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.

Barry Sanders (31 games) had 2,774 rushing yards, 27 rushing TDs, 762 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.

Emmitt Smith had 2,500 rushing yards, 23 rushing TDs, 486 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

Marcus Allen (25 games, 13 fewer than Bo) had 1,711 rushing yards, 20 rushing TDs, 991 receiving yards and 5 receiving TDs.

In Bo Jackson's lone pro-bowl season, 8 running backs finished with 1,000 yards or more. He was not one of them. He actually finished 24th in total yards, behind such NFL rushing luminaries as Herschel Walker, Randall Cunningham.

In terms of yards per game though he managed to finish 7th... behind great names such as Marion Butts and Neal Anderson.

Marion Barber, Braylon Edwards, Elvis Grbac, Vince Young, and Derek Anderson all made pro bowls since 2000. All of them are garbage.

Making the Pro Bowl as the 3rd alternate once in 3 years as a 1st round draft pick = Goat...Bama logic

I think it's safe to assume if you're a running back and you only make one pro bowl in your career, you're garbage.

Julio is a top 2 paid WR. He's the 2nd highest paid WR in the NFL.

There is so much butthurt from Auburn and LSU fans in this thread. Trent being a bust, a huge one at that, isn't going to change anything he did on the field at Bama. If it makes you feel better to point and laugh then go ahead, but what is done is done. He was a great back while at Bama, but not so good in the NFL.

I thought TR was the better college back when compared to Ingram. Some folks never adjust to the next level, TR seems to be in that category. Shocking actually.

This.

The really shocking thing is that he had a pretty good rookie season on what was an average at best Cleveland Browns team. Just short of 1,000 yards on the ground and around 400 in the air.

After that, he went to total shait. IIRC, the offseason after his rookie year is also when he had the orgy scandal and then the Colts fined him several times for being overweight.

I'm still not convinced that the main problem doesn't rest between his ears.

These last three posts are glorious. Rather than focus on the merits of Two Yards and a cloud of dust, they have to point to other issues. Trent is garbage; no amount of gnashing of tooth is going to change that, ladies.

Other than his touchdown number, his rookie year wasn't very good at all. This is the fantasy footballification of performance at work. 3.6 ypc was a massive red flag.
