Oh no, whatever will he do with only $50 Million, and never having to pay for drinks ever again in the state of Alabama?

I never said he was the GOAT....but hardly a bust...guess Saints GM and owner have a different take than you since he got a new contract last year.

I would consider Ingram a borderline bust as of right now. If he can't produce in the next 2 years then he's a bust for sure.

"He played with an NFL offensive line"

It's the same "NFL" offensive line that everyone says is a bust though.

LT - Barret Jones - Universally labeled a bust by everyone on the rant
LG - Chance Warmack - Not a bust
C - William Vlachos - Short NFL nobody right?
RG - Anthony Steen - Bust
RT - DJ Fluker - too slow and can't pass block bust according to football experts on the rant

So, somethings gotta give. They can't both be busts and be the only reason the other had any success in college.

$13.3, but your point still remains. Imagine if he was in the Sam Bradford draft. They would have paid him like three times that amount.

He's a bust right now. He's a 1st rd pick who's been mediocre for his career.

Now, if he puts similar numbers again this year as he did in 2014 then he is no longer a bust IMO.

Would you call Bo Jackson a bust?

He was a #1 overall pick.

You would like to think that a first round running back could rush for 1000 yards in one season in their career. Maybe this is the year.

What is your hard on for Bo Jackson? This is like the 26th time you've made the point. We got it. You think it will rustle Auburn fans. I think they got it, too.

He never played for that team. He was picked 183rd by the raiders, as I've pointed out over and over again.

So, no I wouldn't.

I remember last season they put up a graphic showing Rent was the 3rd worst NFL RB of all-time over some small amount of carries

Other than his touchdown number, his rookie year wasn't very good at all. This is the fantasy footballification of performance at work. 3.6 ypc was a massive red flag.

He also had several 100 yard games, a couple more just short and half a dozen or so where he averaged 4 1/2 or better a carry.

It wasn't spectacular by any means, but that was a really bad Cleveland offensive line. They gave up 37 sacks and were 10th or worse for both QB hits & tackles for loss. Given where he was and what he had around him, the rookie season showed promise. Indy certainly saw something they liked.

Now it's been a different story since. All he really needs now is an arrest for brewing Purple Drank and the pupil will have become the master.

Bo Jackson was only relevant because he was a 20 year old freshman.

He played 4 years in college and sucked in the pros.

He made fewer pro bowls than Herschel Walker.

He had fewer yards in college than Walker or Mcfadden and they BOTH had their FINAL seasons in college at age 20, rather than starting at 20.

Bo Jackson had fewer NFL rushing yards than each individual in the ENTIRE 2005-2006 Arkansas Backfield.

(yes, McFadden, Jones and Hillis have more rushing yards than Bo Jackson)

Mcfadden and Hillis each have more 1,000 yard seasons (1) than Bo does.

Mcfadden has 2 seasons where his YPG is higher than Bo Jackson's career best.

He was good in college because he was motivated. He was making a life for himself and his kids. That life is made.
