And he's still not immune to 21-0?

Very sad

Considering that most running backs probably don't even make it to the NFL, I feel certain he is WRONG!

People can act like they knew that TRICH wouldn't be good but outside of Jim Brown no one said this on draft day. At Alabama TRich had no glaring weaknesses.
What's even stranger is that his vision was considered a strength in scouting reports and that's what everyone is saying he is lacking now.
another scouting report claiming vision as a strength

Rbs with glaring weaknesses don't get picked in the top 5.

Agreed. TRich had a solid rookie season, but overall you'd have to say he's a bust. Not sure what happened when he hit the NFL but I thought he was a can't miss NFL RB...I was wrong.

As for Clark's statement, he's a TV analyst and lots of 'em make bold statements like that; it's pure hyperbole. Is he the worst running back of all time? No, not even close...is he the biggest RB bust of all time? Probably not, but he's in the discussion, considering he was chosen #3 overall. I guess he could possibly be the worst RB that Ryan Clark has seen though...

Ki-Jana Carter was #1 overall, but you can't put him in the same category due to his horrific injury. Blair Thomas was #2 overall; he was considered a pretty big bust but he did stay in the league for 6 years. Archie Griffin, as a 2-time Heisman Trophy winner, is widely considered an NFL bust, since he never came close to a 1,000 yard season and he didn't score much either; but he was selected in the 1st round a lot later than TR, somewhere in the 20's I think...

And as a long suffering Atlanta Falcons fan, two of our highly drafted RB picks in the 70's (Joe Profit: 7th overall pick in '71, 3 years, 450+ yards, 3 TDs, and Bubba Bean: 9th overall pick in '76, 3 years, 1500+ yards, 6 TDs) fared worse than TR, but that was probably well before most of y'all's time...and probably before Ryan Clark's time as well...

Thats fine and he can certainly say what he want.

With that Trent helped us win A LOT of ballgames at Bama and that's all I'm really concerned with. We dont have a NFL team so I can certainly see Raider fan mad or Browns fan mad but this reflects on NOTHING he did at Bama which is my team. They can say what they want, Shoot, I don't care.
