I thought JJohnson was the heisman program changer?

He was, he changed the program for a NC contender to praying we beat JSU. You can not underestimate what that would have done to the program.

Probably one of the most accurate quarterbacks I've ever watched in high school, but arm strength and mobility are both limited. He displays pretty good pocket presence though, and he's a pretty smart player, so we will see how he does. He's not the type of player to go out there and "wow" you, a la Cam Newton, Nick Marshall, etc.
Right now y'all just need a QB that has it between the ears and isn't a liability when he's on the field. If White shows confidence, it will bleed over to the rest of the team.

Too bad he chose the absolute worse offense in America to showcase his skills (I was impressed when he was in camp). In a related note, good luck on that late- September- emergency -hair -on -fire -ship- is- sinking scheme change.

Jeremy Johnson's confidence was sky high up until that first game against Louisville...and it went downhill from there. Per all reports, our staff is still shocked at how bad he's been. He had shown inaccuracy at times in practice, but he has looked as if he's never read a defense before.

FWIW, I agree.

As a RS freshman, Sean white is the highest rated nfl prospect right now. In fact, he's the highest rated prospect perhaps ever. White is better right now than Brady and Brees in their prime.

Reminds you of Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino, a real student of the game.

Trent Dilfer before the Jeremy Johnson implosion:

"Just an absolute program changer and gifted playmaker. Any team would kill to have him as their QB"

His ability to scramble as well as Michael Vick will help out though

Heisman too. It's really unfair college teams have to face the greatest talent of our lifetimes

I like our situations over yours. We always have low expectations and then are surprised by good performance. Who was the last AU QB that wasn't supposed to be greater than sliced bread?

Right............that's why he was starting over a dude that actually threw the ball backwards during a game.

You didn't know? When a former NFL QB and current QB coach say something about a player they have worked with, that means the fanbase of the school the QB is going to has also said those things. Obviously.
