They only get humbled once in Sec play and Ole miss already did that

I'm not sure many on here can give an unbiased opinion, me included. But I will say that I thought you guys were very close to even with Alabama until last weekend. Using a trick play to beat Florida with their second string qb impressed me very little... I know you guys have the best player in the league and nation. And I do think he will go for 150 to 160 on us, but being at home makes me think we will win by abou 9 or 10...

I think LSU wins the game in the trenches. Bama's front 7 is great, but so is LSU's OL. Strength on strength, I look for the offense to have a slight advantage.

Harris seems to be getting comfortable, and is capable to stand in the pocket for big plays. However, I think it really comes down to how well the receivers play.

Admittedly, I haven't watched a lot of Bama this year. That being said, it is clear that Coker isn't the reason Alabama is winning. The LSU pass rush has been nasty this year, and I think they can bring enough pressure to keep the Bama passing game from finding a rhythm.

It will be a slug fest, but I suspect each team breaks a big play or two. This game comes down to whichever team can make the least amount of mistakes.

Lee always struggled against bama and was prone to turning the ball over.

He did struggle against us as a freshman. In 2011 though he brought a 13/1 TD/INT ratio into Tuscaloosa. He was playing damn good football up until that game

1) Treon was the starter at the beginning of the season. It's a bit dishonest to act like they pulled some true freshman walk on off the bench.

2) LSU had an opportunity to get a chip shot field goal to go ahead by 3. Florida had plenty of time, and never answered the TD.

And I wasn't very impressed with Bamas loss to Ole Miss. Call it a wash?

LSU only scored due to a fake fg and had 13 yards passing in the second half against UF

LSU scored 28 in the first half and threw it 7 times, total, in the 2nd half.

This is a meaningless stat when given with context.

If LSU stops Henry....Bama is going to be in trouble if they have to rely on coker to win the game.

It's going to be very interesting....how Bama approaches this game. If they sell out to stop LF, I believe BH will burn them with both his arm and feet...if they back off, LF will punish them.

Special teams will play a critical role obviously, as well as the umpire crew....but I honestly believe this LSU offense is emerging into the most dangerous offense in the SEC, if not the country. This isn't a gimmick offense....they line up and blow you off of the ball...and can beat you deep as well...just choose your poison. It's a damn shame we have such shitty coaching in special teams...or we beat Florida convincingly.

And Bama needing 4 fluke turnovers, 3 of which were returned for scores, to win by 18 impressed me very little.

See how fricking stupid that sounds?

It must be terrible living life thinking everyone is out to get you. I mean this shite is ridiculous. This game has been called exceptionally well compared to other SEC games in the last few years.

It's a hard matchup to predict. I think bama has the edge at home. Both are stout on run defenses, both have awesome running backs, both have quarterbacks with a lot to prove. LSU is committed to that ground game and Leonard fournette runs harder as the game wears on. Lane kiffin has some very curious plays that stall drives. LSU has a weak secondary while bama is strong. I can see LSU staying committed while bama wanders from their run game at times or puts themselves in a bad spot on a series of downs to where running it is unlikely to be effective

Bama at home is the likely winner. it's dangerous for bama though. Fournette runs mad and angry when the game is close late. If LSU is driving to protect or take the lead late in the 4th, I like the Tigers, but in general terms, I like the tide.

the only thing I believe is a given with the game is there is going to be excellent competition between the two teams and no one is running away with it.

this tells me you have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm assuming you didn't notice that the first 7 points that Florida was scored was directly related to a special teams turnover near their own endzone....and another 7 points was scored off of another special teams punt return.

What you should have drawn from this game is that Brandon Harris proved that he has continued to improve to the point where he is a very dangerous QB, both with his arm and feet...and that makes LSU's offense almost damn near indefensible. You know that same Florida D that held OM to 10 points while you gave up 43 points.

Bama may win...who knows at this point...but LSU is very good against the Run.....and I'll take my chances with LSU's offense outscoring Bama's offense if you have to rely on Coker to beat us. JMO
