The game will come down to turnovers and 3rd down conversions. Those 2 things are very hard to predict. At this point, gotta give Bama the edge for being the home team.

Kyle Allen almost threw an interception on the first play of the game and was then hit hard a couple of plays later. He was rushed to the point of making some bad decisions. Being able to take advantage of those bad decisions takes skill. Bama's defense is the best I've seen in several years, and that is saying something.
The best I've seen from Bama since 92. They cause so many turnovers its insane and they are getting better at it with each game.

I'm not completely sold that Alabama's secondary is solid yet
Why the hell not? If Alabama had a poor defensive line, the secondary might not be as impressive. They benefit from each other a ton. But you and every other LSU fan who are trying to downplay this defense...are NUTS.

ETA: Y'all of all people should be able to appreciate what Alabama's defense does. It's apparent y'all are WAY more concerned with petty trolling, though. This isn't all directed at you btw. Not being sold isn't a troll or anything...I don't see what you're missing though.

Lol. UF only scored because of a muffed kick, a nocall block in the back that led to a TD on a kick return, and a blown coverage that left a receiver wide open. LSU put together actual drives that led to TDs.

Off the heels of a shocking Bama loss to Tennessee, LSU fans come in cocky and convinced that they'll stroll to a win, and Buga scores twice in the first half to give LSU a 14-3 halftime lead. Bama rallies in the second half to take the lead 17-14, with one TD on a pick 6. Several big plays set LSU up at the Bama 5 with :03 remaining. Of course Les goes for the fake to win it, and the kicker appears to break the plane for the winning TD. Several tense seconds and a subtle exchange of a large sum of money later, the kicker is ruled short. Bama wins 17-14, TD and tRant explode.

LSU only scored due to a fake fg and had 13 yards passing in the second half against UF. I think Bama will figure out why the 1st half and 2nd half were so different and they'll approach it accordingly.

dude your funny

we didn't pass the ball in the 2nd half

you have to pass to claim you stopped our passing

Lsu beats Bama this year - it's a odd year at Bama

that is what we do - keeps Bama just a little humble

They are more aggressive than I've seen in a couple of years. They feed off each other - the line makes a huge play and the LB's get all jacked up and are ready to kill on the next snap.

Alabama will keep LF in check. If Alabama plays a clean game they'll win a 21-14 type game.

If Alabama decides to turn it over a few times or frick up on special teams, LSU will likely come out on top.

Sadly Alabama has shown the tendency to do those things this year.

I think Bama's run defense can hold Fournette to 100-110 yards. Harris will have to have a really good game to win. I think Bama wins only because it's a home game.

If by "in check" you mean 150 yds and 2 TDs, you might be correct.

I think Fournette will get his yards. Im thinking 100+. But Alabama has the front seven to go toe to toe with LSU's oline, and I think they will try to make Harris beat them. Which I dont believe he can do.

Another factor is which Coker shows up? Will he be consistent and manage the game? Or will he shite the bed?Bamas offense is not that good this season, so I feel LSU can contain Henry and lock down Ridley.

If I was betting I'd put money on Bama since theyre at home. But an LSU win would not surprise me at all. Who knows Fournette could just end up torching the Bama defense and winning the heisman that night for all we know.

A clean game and making available plays will win the day. Both teams are capable of beating the beatable team on the other side, who handles the pressure and gets it done is the question
