IMO, "toughest places to play" should be more about the crowd and the intensity of the environment and less to do with how good the team is.

I think "toughest places to play" would mean the place your team would have the least likely chance of winning the game.

LSU has won there once, so it must not be too easy of a place for them to play in....

Here's why that list is complete shite, and conclusive evidence that the writer knows frickall about college football:

9. McLane Stadium (Baylor Bears)

15. TDECU Stadium (Houston)

17. Amon Carter Stadium (TCU)

25. Kenan Stadium (North Carolina)

These have never, ever, EVER....HEHEHEHEEEEEVER been tough venues. EVER!! There is ZERO reason to believe they will be tough in 2016, especially given the size of the stadiums and the shitocity (new word) of their fans.

If he is saying that these will be good teams in 2016, fine. Just list the top 25.

These venues above, by themselves, will be NO help whatsoever, to their teams.

Jordan Hare is a really tough place to play when Auburn gets things rolling. It's loud, intense, and one of the most electric environments in CFB. I'd certainly have them in the top 10 before Vaughn Hemingway.

The Swamp is also pretty intimidating when it's sold out. The seats are so close to the field and feels compact.

For pure volume and intensity, I would think most SEC loyalists would put LSU at the top (at night) followed by UF and AU (at night). It's a little harder to gauge in light of Alabama's high performance at home and the slumping of UF and AU.

I feel like Alabama is probably not getting its due in light of expansion, but prior to that it wasn't in the top category IMO. Moreover, I'm not sure we'll really get a glimpse of UA's intensity in a prolonged way until Alabama is less dominant over the rest of the league.

How tough is it for OM 70% of the time y'all play LSU anywhere?

Where are you getting these stats? Y'all have won 59 percent of the time in the series. And I am not going to look it up... But after 1937ish, I think the series is about 50/50. I know stats aren't LSU fans favorite thing.

size and loudness obviously don't apply because A&M is losing games like its nothing at home.

It just depends on the game. TAMU was one of the loudest places Bama played a couple of years ago. Jordan Hare can be a damn loud stadium.

Stupid. So I guess my kid's elementary school football field would be the toughest environment to play if we played the Denver Broncos there

But they beat Wake Forest, Boston College, Syracuse, NC State, Maryland and Georgia Tech a lot there so.......must be pretty scary.

Ole Miss has steadily become a more difficult place to play. I will say Stark-Vegas is underrated as far as difficulty... Those cowbells ain't no joke.
