I agree the list is shite, but OU fans and media that attended the game last year were VERY impressed with the Neyland experience. They wrote articles about it the fans message boards were full of threads about how impressive and intimidating it was.

Also true. Last year for the OU game, the noise level reached to 114 dbs- a new record for Neyland

Obviously not as loud as say DV or the Swamp, but a good range for Neyland. I'd say BDS is in that same group. Not always the loudest, but still intimidating when things get rolling.

What's Tennessee's home record to validate that? I'm not even suggesting BDS should be higher, but home record should count for something.

25. Kenan Stadium - UNC

Is a joke too. If any of you have ever been there you'd know they should be nowhere near this list.

Pretty sure they just ranked the home stadiums of every team they thought would be top 25 this year.

The crowd impacts the home team more than the visiting team. If you have a mentally tough football team they aren't going to give a shite about crowd noise.

To quote Damion Square as he stepped onto the turf at tiger stadium after exiting the tunnel:

"They been talking all year, about how they ready for Bama to come to town. Well we at yo' do' now bitch, watchu gon' do?"

The crimson tide went on to win the football game

It's the way the stadium is built as much as it is the crowd. The Swamp is different than other stadiums I've been to because the the stands are almost on top of the field.

It's because it's their stadium is so small.

The only thing you have to worry about at lsu is being spit on, having trash thrown at you, and being assaulted.

Can't find the link to the story written by lsu students dressed up as the visiting team right now.

What this says is Saban is good, not that the stadium is intimidating.

The women called us "bitches," and the men called us "counts" followed by the traditional "Rip. Rip. Rip. Rap. Rap. Rap. You ‘Bama girls got the clap, clap, clap!" cheer.

And if that wasn't enough, the amount of times we were spit on also struck a nerve. Spitting on someone is one of the most degrading things a human being can do to another.

Verbal abuse is powerful, but when things get physical, that's a little more effective. The most significant physical encounters were from male Tiger fans. And they all involved some kind of inappropriate gestures.

We were groped and squeezed by just about every guy we interviewed. Not only did things get physical for us personally, our camera equipment also has some bruises as well.

I can't even count the number of times a Tiger fan ran up to the camera and shouted expletives or just yelled at the lens.

Saban isn't the only head coach to have great success in BDS. But then again, no is arguing BDS is known for a raging atmosphere. But neither is Neyland.

I'm guessing this is because our home schedule is pretty bad next year outside LSU and home games aren't necessarily going to play a big role on the national stage?
