im not saying that LSU's schedule will not be tougher at the end of the year but up till this point i think its pretty safe to say auburn has faced better competition.

the proof is in the pudding SO FAR...its going to be interesting to see how this game plays out but it will be closer than what the experts are saying.

Its a no-brainer Auburn is the more impressive 3-0 team up to this point.

Glad to hear that. When LSU wins Saturday, I can't wait to read all of the posts from Alabama and A&M fans saying how LSU has beat a quality opponent.

Oh wait. Definitely won't happen.

I honestly think the AU-LSU game will be a close one.

All people are saying is that to this point, AU has played against better competition and they are 3-0. It remains to be seen if AU can be considered a quality opponent or not. That game Sat night will be a good gauge to meassure where AU is now and where they need to be to compete in this brutal conference.

Cut to the chase.

Does this mean Auburn should win Saturday? I need some new shoes.

Yeah I can agree with this. So far, Auburn does look (on paper anyway) like they have faced tougher opponents.

I may agree that they have had the tougher schedule so far, but I do not see how someone can say this.

I know everyone is saying next week is the real test but if LSU isnt careful auburn we sneak up and make this a game...LSU players and coaches better not be looking ahead because they could be in a dogfight come the 4th if its remotely close

I am not sure why the line is set this high. I can see us winning by seven or even ten but 17.5 is a pretty big line for this game.

I honestly can't see LSU looking ahead seeing as this is the first conference game and Auburn is undefeated.

yeah 17.5 is a large number and that is an indicator of how good vegas thinks LSU is.

I dont see them looking ahead as well just for the very reason it is the first conference game.

Too high for this series. We are probably 3 TDs better than they are this year, but it rarely goes that way. Barring a meltdown, 14 is probably the number.

I do however think that we will know a lot more about where we stand as a team after the Georgia game (especially regarding our defense).

I really, really hope they are looking at UGA. We can use all the help we can get.

14 seems reasonable enough...the way this series is though, anything can happen.
