Very early line moves are due to Wiseguy money. Once the smart money comes in and hits the opening lines it makes the line much more accurate.

It is due to money, not just 'wiseguy money.' If that were the case, you could just come up with a system by going with the early money and retire on an island in your 30's. You don't have to be a 'wiseguy' to have/put up a lot of money or get the early numbers. Then you have to factor in stuff like probably most of the money coming from arbs. Those that have the money to spread their wealth among books can just bet multiple lines with multiple books and not even have to worry about losing. Most of that is done early.

They will start to move again closer to kickoff due to volume of bets and late action is usually more squares than sharps but sharps (wiseguys) do indeed hit em towards kickoff if value has shifted in their favor.

Yeah, the public, but you're missing a detail. Sharps hit the late numbers a lot, but only due to late info. This information spreads throughout the books like wildfire, and you'll commonly see just about every book across the board light up with changes within 30 minutes of kickoff (sometimes earlier). The books view this a lot like card counting if you take them for a lot of money using the same method, and they can find this out easily. Because why should the public schmoes like us have any kind of edge on these douchebags? Anyway, get a line checker and piss the books off in a discrete way.
