He's an Aggi regardless of what happens.

I'll be interested to see where he's drafted. If its Top 10 like he's projected then he's gone. And that's fine. We also have the Texas HS POY signed at QB in this class (Kenny Hill).

But if he slides farther down the draft its because teams are scared off because they think he might go to college.

It's unlikely, but it could happen.

Too bad, it's likely Manziel is gone after next year if he's successful again. And if that happens its either Kohl or Kenny because Matt Davis is still a project and Showers is transferring. Unless they give Joeckel the nod as a 5th year Sr

One would think that UGA with all that talent and Hope Scholarships would have a little better baseball team.

Louisiana sends few players to MLB.Same with South Carolina. The OP is getting bad info.

Middle Man's info seems more accurate.

Tennessee isn't a half bad baseball state! It is better in baseball then it is football at the high school level.

Yes, but is he going to actually step foot on campus? Or will he go to the MLB?

I've read quite a few interviews on the paid texasgs side of things.. All indications are that he really wants to be on campus and go to school.

I think he can always fall back to baseball. He is throwing in the high 90s if memory serves me right. If you can do that, you will get your shot at MLB.

MLB All star game last year had 4 guys who went to high school in Tennessee. South Carolina had zero. Tennessee also has also produced more MLB players than South Carolina.

Roger that - Amen. Shoeless Joe is tough to beat - maybe the best ever. Even that Georgia peach a-hole Ty Cobb said Shoeless Joe was the best ever.

===============

Actually the stats between the 2 show they were pretty much dead even.

Don Sutton 23 years..324-256 ERA- 326

Steve Carlton 24 years 329-244 ERA - 322

Pretty much a dead heat , and when I looked this up ,like you I thought Carlton would be better by far than Sutton but there are in all reality even.

Sutton played high school ball in Florida but was born in Clio Alabama.

"Oklahoma - Johnny Bench"

Fine player, but I'll argue Mickey Mantle is the all time best player from the Sooner state
