The coaching rankings have been adjusted since I never considered Cam

So you ranked coaching staffs missing LSU's most important pick up of 2013..

Good stuff......

Everybody on this board told us Cameron would suck because he got fired from every team in history.

I'm aware that there are a whole lot of idiots on this board. Hence my question
My original point was just another brilliant addition to my t-shirt selling juggernaut..

Coaching Staff Rankings IMO
1. USC
2t. AU
2t. Bama
4. UGA
5t. LSU
5t. Mizzou

Is this a joke? LSU's coaching staff worse than UGA's and on par with Mizzou?

If Florida's not a top 2 team in the East and Top 5 in the SEC overall, Boom might not have the luxury of being fired.

All I've seen is a QB who can't throw it 40 yards tear up Chavis' Defense. I'm sure he's a great DC, and I credit him for what he's done against Manziel, but you can't say that after we almost beat you last year at your place with less talent, and beat you at our place with less talent, that these two staff's are not comparable

LOL. We lost the top 5 DL players on our squad (4 were drafted, 3 in the top 3 rounds). We lost our best LB (2nd round). We lost one of our safeties (1st round) and replaced one of our corners with a true freshman. We did take our lumps last year because we lost a shite ton of talent and experience to the draft, but we still pulled out the 15th best defense in the nation. Now we have experience, and it won't go easy for you in death valley. Hopefully our QB doesn't throw consecutive passes into double coverage again. That can also wear a defense out.

Has Les every over achieved like Gus did last year?

If you're factoring in underachieving with talent so much then how is Mark Richt ranked higher than anyone?

So is Chizik an elite coach? LSU has the second most talent on it's team in the sec year in and years out. When have y'all finished above your talent level? Only one year with this staffs players have y'all even finished where your talent level is. The point of this thread is to combine ability to coach players up with the team's talent. If LSU did this like Mizzo, AU, or USC staff did, then they would be ranked higher.

Well so far...

2008 Lavar Edwards 42nd at position 3 star (5th round pick 2013)
2009 Lamin Barrow 22nd at position 3 star (5th round pick 2013)
2009 Morris Claiborne 58th at position 3 star (1st round pick 2012)
2009 Bennie Logan 33rd at position 3 star (3rd round pick 2013)
2009 Kevin Minter 17th at position 4 star (2nd round pick 2013)
2010 Tyrann Mathieu 20th at position just barely 4 star (3rd round pick 2013)

Oh and some guys to keep your eyes on in the upcoming drafts

2011 Ronald Martin 47th at position 3 star
2012 Jalen Mills 53rd at position 3 star
2013 Maquedius Bain 25th at position low 4 star
2013 Rashard Robinson 24th at position barely 4 star
2014 Trey Lealaimatafao 32nd at position 3 star
2014 John Battle 29th at position 3 star

Y'all keep proving my point. If y'all put out more nfl talent then why aren't you the premier team in the conference? Your coaching staff is why

Might have something to do with us losing these guys to the draft a year early ALL THE DAMN TIME! Not only do we have to put up playing with UF and Bama and a good BCS OOC team every year, we have to do it with way less experience at key positions in the toughest division of the toughest conference in the country.

Seems like we are doing pretty good considering Bama's only times not being #1 in recruiting since Saban has been here is twice.

2007
Bama 10
LSU 4
UF 1
AU 7
UGA 9

2008
Bama 1
LSU 11
UF 3
AU 20
UGA 7

2009
Bama 1
LSU 2
UF 11
AU 19
UGA 6

2010
Bama 5
LSU 10
UF 1
AU 6
UGA 12

2011
Bama 1
LSU 8
UF 12
AU 5
UGA 6

2012
Bama 1
LSU 14
UF 4
AU 11
UGA 8

2013
Bama 1
LSU 6
UF 3
AU 13
UGA 11
TAMU 9

2014
Bama 1
LSU 2
UF 9
AU 6
UGA 8
TAMU 4

2015 so far
Bama 1
LSU 7
UF 19
AU 5
UGA 10
TAMU 2

Now that TAMU is pulling in top recruits, there will be no real talent gap for them by 2015.

GET what I'm saying? There is no grand talent gap between us except for Bama. Even UT had the 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 10th ranked classes during four of those years.

Put up the hardware, wins, stability, NFL Draft picks, and LSU is behind only Bama.

POST of the thread!!!!

Thank you bayoubengal. I'm from "down the bayou". Wonder if it's the same one?

LSU gets it's top players three sometimes four years and is still able to compete in the west.

If the cocks staff is so much better than LSU's, why haven't they beaten Miles yet?

You want consistency?

Since '05 (Miles fist year in BR) LSU is the ONLY SEC school to win NO LESS than EIGHT games EVERY year.
