We return 4/5 OL from the end of last year and top 3 RBs from the end of last year. Bama, Auburn and Arkansas, what do you return on the OL and RB position from last year?

Mizzou has tons of experience across the OL including two seniors who are likely day two picks, and a 1000 rusher who is severely underrated.

Agreed. Pretty incredible this list doesn't include Tennessee.

I'm excited to watch some man meat smack together

We only return two O-linemen, but at least it's the LT and center. We lost Yeldon at RB, but return Henry, Drake is back from injury, and it looks like 5* freshman, Harris will contribute.
If the O-line comes together, and we don't have a lot of injuries, we'll be ok.

That list was simply the top OLs in terms of yards before contact. LSU was "forgotten" because they didn't stack up in terms of yards before contact.
As for avg defenders in the box, it is well established on tRant that LSU faced an average of 12 defenders in the box, so y'all would probably lead that list.

Probably should put this on your list of "things to never say or write again"

We return 3/5 OL and Tra Carson, our leading back.

Texas A&M also returns no semblance of a rushing attack.

I could see how one might misconstrue my previous post

So since Georgia's OL is so good and Chubb only had good stats because of his OL giving him the "yards before contact", it's only fitting that I insert

Damn, I was about to contribute to this thread, but then I realized we don't have an OL

We have three new linemen. Return Cam and Kelly, by far our two best guys last year. We'll have Bradley Bozeman and Ross Pierschbacher at the guard spots replacing fourth round pick, Arie Kouandjio. Arie had low expectations last season, but played very well. The other guard we replace is Alphonse Taylor and Leon Brown. Both were underwhelming. The new RT is Dom Jackson who steps in for Austin Shepard who also came in with low expectations and played above them. Dom should be a talent upgrade.
Overall, it's in my opinion that we gain talent across the board at the OLine but lose experience. I think they will be a better unit this year.
We lost Yeldon, who went second round. Incoming Fr Flowers had academic issues with the Ncaa and will not be with the team this fall. Another incoming Fr, Damien Harris, was the number one rated back last recruiting cycle and should be a solid third string back for us. Bo Scarbourgh joins the team this fall after having grade issues himself that keep him out last year. Bo was another highly rated recruit that despite tearing his ACL in Feb, figures to play a big role in the Crimson Tides offensive attack this season. Of course we return Henry, who was just shy of 1k yards last year splitting carries with TJ. He should be in line for a big year, seeing a rise in carries and a more talented OLine. Drake is back from a gruesome lower leg injury suffered against Ole Miss. He is reported to be back 100% and should be a nightmare match up problem with his speed and Kiffins tendencies to move him around.
Our Rb depth is not ideal but looks better than it did a couple months ago after kicking off Tyren Jones, losing Tennpenny to transfer, Bo getting hurt and flowers not qualifying.
Overall I expect a better running attack this fall from UA, due in large part to the increase in talent I see on the OLine.

So what you are saying is that Chubb is overrated?

Not really. He probably led in yards after contact, too. I know he had more than Gurley.
