That's all fine and dandy, but he's not a top 5 QB. Bama is a great team, and you should be happy that you're favorite team can make an average QB look like a top 5 QB. But at the end of the day, he's not.

Bama needs to be part if each and every top 5. The knowledge that the program has not produced the best of everything is very unsettling to Bama fans.

Considering the way Alabama has dominated the SEC the last 9 years, I'd say the chances are pretty good they have a top 5 player at every position.

Whatever. Not including AJ is hilarious.
The only Sophomore QB to win a BCS Championship, the only QB to win Back to back BCS Championships. As a Jr, he threw 35 tds, 3 ints. As a Sr, won the Maxwell, 2nd in Heisman.
The guy accomplished more at Alabama than any of the other QBS on these list.
Just saying,well..."Bama has good talent" is comical. Since when do QBS get punished for playing on good talented teams?

I prefer titles and career production over individual season flashes. Calling that homer is ridiculous. I'd rather have Tommie Frazier's college career than Eric Crouch's, even though Crouch won the Heisman.

You can't sit here and make arguments he is top 5 because he had championships.
He had eite defenses and offensive lines and didn't dominate games like other quarterbacks that have been mentioned.
Hell, you could put aaron murray on alabama those 3 years and he would have won the heisman atleast twice maybe.

Pains me to say it, but the fact is this:
Cam Newton had the best college season of any quarterback I've ever seen. I can see putting him below Tebow based on Tebow's longevity in college, but he's no worse than #2 on either list.
